With the latest trend in computer technology and recent innovation of
multi-performance and interactive entertainment being offered to anyone,
there is no way for me but to enjoy to the maximum level the hype of
watching TV via computer connection. I can get rid of strenuous ways of
watching the various programs in my PC.

In order for me to connect my PC to my TV, I will need a PC to TV
converter. It is a cable that attaches to my personal computer and links its
other end to the television port. I simply connect the other end of the
cable or cord to the output port of my PC then attach the other end to the
input port of my TV. The images or shows being played in my computer will
also be displayed in my TV screen. That's truly amazing!
By the way, there are various kinds of PC to TV cables, and they do not
work the same in a few ways. One difference is the manner of connecting the
cords to the computer, which is attached via the outputs of a video card in
which a computer monitor also connects. Next thing is the manner of
attaching it to the television or the kind of input it has connections for.
Another difference is that certain cables or cords perform as converters. A
regular PC/TV cord merely leads the shows in the monitor to the television
screen. There is still a need to adjust the set up of hardware and display
options to enhance the picture or image from computer monitor, for it to
appear clear on TV depending on the television and PC current settings. Do
not forget that a television has a different display resolution as compared
to a computer. If the cable performs as a converter, then it will
automatically adjust the image from computer monitor to TV screen. There is
not need to regulate the settings of TV just to make the picture appear with
good resolution. The only thing to be done is to merely plug the cable in
and watch the videos, programs, or downloads on TV. These kinds of cables
usually need a power source like a USB port of a computer.
I can watch television from the Internet using a real TV set, or I can
watch VCDs or DVDs using the DVD drive of my computer and display the video
on my television screen. I can also make my big-screen TV set as the monitor
of my PC to view pictures, downloads or just surf the web for anything and
everything it offers, and all I did was to connect my PC to my TV.
For me, to connect my PC to my TV situated in a different room, I need to
buy the 802.11g hardware, which is made to stream video from my PC to my TV
aside from the cables of RCA or S-Video, which tends to weaken the signal in
long distances and sometimes create a lot of noise in the line. Though,
there are also hardwares being created by different companies that offer
media streaming from PC to TV. Just be careful on choosing the right one. So
far Windows XP Media Center Extenders and the Windows Media Connect are
compatible tools that can provide good services on this matter.
